Wood, fibreglass and polymer modified cement, 260 x 360 x
260 cm, single piece
On September 11, 2001 an airplane vanished without
a trace into the belly of the Pentagon. The engine disappeared as evidence
and reappeared in this project as a work of art. It is a free interpretation
of the fuselage of a Rolls-Royce RB211 aircraft engine. The space this
object takes up enables us to measure through absurdity the extent
of this disappearance.
